Tangerine Birthday Wishes

Hello Everyone!  I hope you are enjoying your Christmas Break!  While you read this I am away visiting family and enjoying a break from routine!  You may remember that before I went away, I was working on a set of cards that I was giving my grandmother for Christmas.  This is one that I made for her - let's face it, you can never have too many Birthday Cards!!

I was inspired by a recent Mojo Sketch, although I made this after the week's cut off.  I started with a base of Tangerine Tango and layered with white and some Bloom and Grow DSP.  Across that I've added some striped Bloom and Grow that was matted with green bazzill punched both sides with the Martha Stewart Lattice Arch Border Punch.  The image is from SU's Bloomin' with Beauty (Bloomin' Beautiful in the US) and stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black and coloured with Groovy Guava, Always Artichoke and Creamy Caramel.  I cut it out and popped it up on an embossed piece of white which is matted with Hazel Bazzill and more Tangerine Tango.  I finished off by adding the sentiment (Sincere Salutations - SU), Kaisercraft Blush Pearls to the top corner and also to many of the flower centres.

Stamps - Bloomin' with Beauty (Bloomin' Beautiful), Sincere Salutation (SU)
Paper - Tangerine Tango, Pear and Hazel Bazzill, White, Bloom and Grow DSP
Ink - Memento Tuxedo Black, Groovy Guava, Always Artichoke, Creamy Caramel
Accessories - Small, Large and Large Scalloped Circle Nestabilities, Martha Stewart Lattice Arch Border Punch, Swiss Dots EF, Kaisercraft Blush Pearls, Scissors and Foam Tape.

That's all for today, thanks for visiting!!!  :)

FS150 Hold on to Each Other

Can you believe there are only 3 days to Christmas!!!  I FINALLY finished my Christmas shopping today and tomorrow our family heads off on vacation to spend Christmas with family.  Now of course I really should be packing, but what did I do....played the Featured Stamper Challenge of course!!!  LOL!!!  This week the honour goes to Brenda aka Benzi!!!  Congratulations Brenda!!!

I chose her I've Got Curves card to case......and ah, mine really looks nothing like the original!  I was inspired by the Valentine theme, hearts and colours and kept those and completely changed the layout!  I also got to use the soon to be released Romantic Sentiments by JustRite!!!  This set of 9 centers is being released on January 1st!!!

I started with a base of red bazzill and layered with white and some Bella Rose DSP.  Through the middle I added some 1" White Satin Ribbon and topped it with a piece of black bazzill cut with the Label 8 die.  For my feature panel I used the Renaissance Hearts Pendant and cut out a panel in white.  I then took the smaller heart from the same set and cut and embossed 8 hearts in red to go around the edge.  Also using the red I used the die from the middle to cut out another panel which was popped up in the centre.  I stamped the sentiment from Romantic Sentiments in Real Red and cut it out with Circle Nestabilities and glued it to the popped panel of red.  To finish I added some Kaisercraft Snow Pearls to the corners of the Label 8 and each of the 8 red hearts.

Stamps - Romantic Sentiments (JustRite)
Paper - Red, Black and White Bazzill, Bella Rose DSP
Ink - Real Red
Accessories - Label 8 Nestabilities, Large Circle Nestabilities, Renaissance Hearts Pendant Shapeabilities, 1" White Satin Ribbon, Kaisercraft Snow Pearls, Foam Tape.

Although I'll be away over Christmas, I will have a couple of posts scheduled during this time.  Wherever you are this Festive Season I hope you are blessed with a Merry Christmas and safe traveling!!

MTSC52 Pink Dogwoods

Do you have people that you struggle to think of Christmas gifts for each year?  One of mine happens to be my 88yr old Grandmother.  She is an amazing woman and I absolutely love her to bits and if I am that great at her age I'll be very happy!!!  At her age however, she doesn't want 'things' - so this year I decided to make her a set of cards so that she always has something on hand for different occasions.  Today I was inspired by Mercy's Tuesday Sketch Challenge to make a card with no sentiment that she could use for various occasions.

I started with a base of pale pink bazzill and layered with white, a darker shade of pink and topped with some Kaisercraft Blushed DSP.  For the strip down the side I've embossed some white card with the 'Victoria' EF and matted with the darker pink.  Across the top I've made the panel with some 1" White Satin and 1/2" Pink Satin Ribbons.  The main panel has been stamped using Our Daily Bread's Grow in Grace Stamp Set.  I stamped it in Jet Black Stazon and coloured with markers and a blender pen and then cut it out with Small Oval Nestabilities.  I matted it with light pink and darker pink bazzill and popped it up on foam tape.  Finally I added a large white satin bow to the top corner.

Stamps - Grow in Grace (ODBD)
Paper - Pink Bazzill (2 shades), White, Kaisercraft Blushed DSP
Ink - Jet Black Stazon
Accessories - Small, Large and Large Scalloped Oval Nestabilities, Victoria EF, 1" White Satin Ribbon, 1/2" Pink Satin Ribbon, Bow Easy, Foam Tape.

On a different note - the severe weather hitting the east coast of the USA has even made news here in Australia and my thoughts and prayers are with those of you in that part of the world!!!!  For my fellow Queenslanders, I hope you haven't been hit too hard by the storms and flash flooding that happened today!!!

That's all for today, hope you are safe whatever part of the world you are in and thanks for visiting!!!  :)

A Romantic Sneak Peek!

Hello Everyone!!!  Today the team are sneak peeking the upcoming JustRite January Release!!  To help showcase the sneak peek I have used this week's SCS Sketch Challenge (SC259) as inspiration for today's card.  You might also have noticed that the JustRite Blog is on the move and its new home can now be found HERE!  The blog move is the beginning of lots of exciting things planned for JustRite this year and I'm excited!!!!  :)

Today I am featuring the soon to be released Romantic Sentiments which is a set of 9 centres in beautiful fonts.  These centres are designed to fit the 1 5/8" or 2" Stampers and therefore fit inside the 1 5/8 circle borders as well as the 2" Circle and Square Borders.  Today I've used the Romantic Sentiments with the 2" Decorative Wide Circle Borders.

I started with a base of Very Vanilla and layered with black bazzill, dark green bazzil and more Vanilla (embossed with Swiss Dots - which was then mostly covered up!!!).  Next I added two panels of black that were layered with some flocked DCWV paper (La Creme) and added some May Arts 1" Satin Ribbon around the middle.  On top of that is a panel of Vanilla cut with the Label 8 dies and in two corners I've added some flowers with pearl centres.  I stamped both centre (Romantic Sentiments) and border (2" Decorative Wide Circle Borders) in black on Very Vanilla and cut it out with the Small Circle Nestabilities and matted with black bazzill cut with the Large Circle Nestabilities (to see a Punch & Die Compatibility Chart click HERE!)and popped it up in the centre of the card.

Stamps - Romantic Sentiments, 2" Decorative Wide Circle Borders (JustRite)
Paper - Very Vanilla, Black and Green Bazzill, DCWV DSP (La Creme)
Ink - Memento Tuxedo Black
Accessories - Large and Small Circle Nestabilities, Label 8 Nestabilities, Flowers, Martha Stewart Branch Punch, Kaisercraft Lush Pearls, May Arts Olive 1" Satin Ribbon, Swiss Dots EF, Foam Tape.

That's all for today, thanks for visiting and don't forget to check out the New JR Blog and see what else the girls have made for today!!!!  :)

FS149 - CONGRATULATIONS PAM!!!!!

FINALLY!!!!  What a shocker of a week - can you believe it's Thursday and I'm just now getting the Featured Stamper Challenge done???  Of course I had to play this week because it is my dear friend PAM who is being honoured!!!  I chose her Let Heaven & Nature Sing card to case.  As much as I LOVE the stamp she used, I decided to change the stamp to a friendship theme, slightly modified the layout, kept the red/green colour palette and moved the pearls!!!

I started with a base of white and layered with Riding Hood Red (embossed with Swiss Dots).  The middle panel is more white layered with Raspberry Tart DSP and then added some Vintage corners.  Across the middle is some 1" white satin ribbon and popped up in the middle is the main panel using the JustRite Friendship Set.  I stamped it in black and then coloured the wreath in red and green markers and blender pen.  I used Large Circle and Scallop Circle Nestabilities to cut the image out.  (JustRite now has this AWESOME Punch and Die Compatibility Chart which makes it a breeze to find the right thing to use - you can find and download it HERE!!!!)  To finish I added 13 tiny white pearls to each of the flowers in the wreath and red pearls to the corners - because I know Pam would be horrified if I didn't have pearls somewhere on this card!!!  :)  CONGRATULATIONS Pam --- this card is heading to you!!!!  :)

Stamps - Friendship Set (JustRite)
Paper - White, Riding Hood Red, Raspberry Tart DSP
Ink - Memento Tuxedo Black
Accessories - Markers, Blender Pen, 1" White Satin Ribbon, Vintage Die Set, Large Circle and Scallop Circle Nestabilities, Swiss Dots EF, Kaisercraft Snow and Red Pearls, Foam Tape.

That's all for today, stop by Saturday Morning (AEST) / Friday 5pm USA EST for a sneak peek for the upcoming JustRite January Release!!!!  Thanks for visiting!!!!

Updates and a Notebook!

Hello Everyone!  Many thanks to those who have been checking up on me because of my absence!!  School finished for the Christmas/Summer break (and therefore 3 kids at home under 8yrs), desperately trying to get my Christmas Shopping done, trip to the hairdresser for all of us followed by a massive migraine that resulted in a lot of throwing up followed by 15hrs of being unconscious and another day recovering.  Today I am off to see my cousin who is in town - I haven't seen her in two years!!!  As you can see it's been pretty full on around here of late!!!

Now I still have to make the Featured Stamper challenge card for this week, because it is none other than my dear friend PAM (aka Pam124) - however it will just have to wait a little bit longer!!!  With Christmas fast approaching and our family will be going away for a bit - my posting may be a little sporadic, although I will have some news to share soon!!

The project I have today is a Christmas gift that I made last week before the chaos hit!  I bought a Spirax notebook and covered it with this pretty Kaisercraft Blushed DSP.  The strip down the side is more of the same paper (don't you love that flourish!) with some white grosgrain knotted around it and mounted on some pink bazzill that I've punched with the Fiskars Upper Crest Border Punch.  The Monogram is made using the JustRite 2" Square Decorative Frames and the Special Occasions Font Set stamped in Chocolate Chip and Regal Rose.  I cut it out using the Large Classic Square Nestabilities and matted with the Label 3 Nestabilities (2 sizes, 2 colours of pink bazzill) and popped it up on foam tape.  I finished by adding some Kaisercraft Snow Pearls to the corners.

JustRite have now compiled an awesome chart that tells you which Spellbinders/Marvy/EK Success/Stampin Up product matches which JustRite stamp set!!!!  What an awesome resource that is!!!  You can find it HERE and download it for future reference!!!

Stamps - 2" Square Decorative Frames , Special Occasions Font Set (JustRite)
Paper - Kaisercraft Blushed DSP, White, Pink Bazzill (2 shades)
Ink - Chocolate Chip, Regal Rose
Accessories - Label 3 Nestabilities, Large Square Nestabilities, Fiskars Upper Crest Border Punch, White Grosgrain Ribbon, Kaisercraft Snow Pearls, Foam Tape.

WSC109 Congrats EDNA!!!

Today I finally had the chance to play along with Beate's Weekend Sketch Challange!  Of course I HAD to play because the inspiration for this week's challenge came from my BFF Edna!!!!  WOOHOOO!!!!!!  :)  The card that inspired this week's challenge can be found HERE!

This was actually quite a quick card to make, starting with a base of white and layering with Pink Pirouette and more white.  I punched one end of the white with Martha Stewart's Doily Lace Punch and embossed the rest with the Victoria EF.  Across the bottom I added two pieces of this cool ric rak that I found at Bee Crafty in Maryborough - I have no idea what it is called, but it also comes in blue.  I then took the Lattice Pendant Die Set (Spellbinders) and cut out some pieces using the smaller square die and attached them en point across the top.  I thought it looked a bit bland, so I added some Martha Stewart Royal Butterflies (cut with white and sponged with Pretty in Pink) embellished with Kaisercraft Rose Pearls.  The flower has been made using the Poinsettia dies by Spellbinders, cut out in Pink Pirouette.  To add a bit of definition I sponged the centres with Pretty in Pink ink and then popped each flower up on foam tape.  I then added some Kaisercraft Snow Pearls to the centre of the flower.  The sentiment is from Warmest Regards and has been stamped in Pretty in Pink ink and then I cut the panel into a tag shape.

Stamps - Warmest Regards (SU)
Paper - Pink Pirouette, White
Ink - Pretty in Pink
Accessories - Nested Poinsettias (Spellbinders), Lattice Pendant die set (Spellbinders), Doily Lace Border Punch and Royal Butterfly Punch (Martha Stewart), Rose and Snow Pearls (Kaisercraft), Pink Ric Rak, Victoria EF, Foam Tape.

That's all for today, thanks for visiting!!!  :)

SFYTT For Gerry

Well I survived the end of Kindy yesterday, tomorrow I face my son finishing Grade 2!  I can't believe he's finished Grade 2!!!  Today also marked the day that he had to start wearing glasses.  So much has happened this week that my mojo is suffering and yet I still have had to make oodles of altered notebooks and thank you cards!

I was inspired by this week's SFYTT for the layout and I had to make this one pink since the recipient loves pink.  I started with a base of Pink Pirouette and layered with white and some Kaisercraft Blushed DSP and then tied some white grosgrain ribbon around it.  The main panel is more Pirouette and Blushed cut with the Label 4 Nestabilities.  The Monogram is made using the Special Occasions Font and the 2" Decorative Round Wide Borders stamped in River Rock and Regal Rose and cut with the Large Circle Nestabilities and mounted on Large Scallop Circle Nestabilities.  To finish I added several Kaisercraft Snow Pearls!!  :)

Stamps - Special Occasions Font, 2" Decorative Round Wide Borders (JustRite)
Paper - Pink Pirouette, White, Kaisercraft Blushed DSP
Ink - River Rock, Regal Rose
Accessories - Label 4 Nestabilities, Large Circle and Scalloped Circle Nestabilities, White Grosgrain Ribbon, Kaisercraft Snow Pearls, Foam Tape.

That's all for today, thanks for visiting!!  :)

Goodbye Kindy Year...

I can't believe how crazy things have been over the last few days!  Not only have I done very little Christmas shopping - this is the last week of school before the Summer/Christmas School Holidays!!!  YIKES!!!  Is anyone else as disorganised as I am this year???
Today is a bittersweet day for me - it marks the very last day of my middle child's Kindy year!  (In Australia Kindy is 2 stages before grade 1.)  I have to admit I'm feeling a little teary today, my little man is growing up!  I have made a Journal and card set for his teacher as a thank you gift.  These are her favourite colours and she loved them when we presented them this morning!

I used Kaisercraft's new Lilac Avenue PP (both the full sized sheets as well as the mini deck size).  I've matched it with Old Olive and So Saffron cardstock, scallop edge punch for borders and the Label 4 dies to frame the name (journal) and sentiment circle (card).  The sentiment is from JustRite's new release Just A Note set and stamped in Old Olive ink.  I embellished with some green satin ribbon and some Kaisercraft Lemon Pearls.

Stamps - Just A Note (JustRite), Headline Alphabet (ret. SU)
Paper - Old Olive, So Saffron, White, Kaisercraft Lilac Avenue DSP
Ink - Old Olive
Accessories - Label 4 Nestabilties, Large Circle and Scallop Circle Nestabilities, Scallop edge punch, green satin ribbon, foam tape.

That's all for today, thanks for visiting!!!  :)

LSC249 White Christmas

Hello Everyone!!!  Today's card is for this week's LSC Challenge at SCS!  The Hostess this week is Holly McMillen (aka Toy) and she asked me to be a sample maker for her!!!  Thanks so much for asking me Holly - it was so much fun!!!  :)  The challenge was to make a card using the 'White Christmas' theme - only white card, only white paper, white or clear embellishments, only one colour ink and no colouring!  For more details see LSC249 on THIS page!!!

I started with a white card base and then popped up the next layer of white on foam tape.  I then added another layer of white - embossed with 'Victoria' EF and punched one end with the Fiskars Upper Crest Border Punch.  Around this layer I attached some white satin ribbon and added a white satin bow to one side.  In the bottom corner, in silver ink, I added the sentiment from JustRite's Christmas Joy Set.  The poinsettia is made using the Spellbinders Nested Poinsettias - which I've had on my desk for MONTHS begging to be used!!  Once again, I've cut them out using white card, embossed the edges and shaped them, popping the middle up.  To finish I've added some Kaisercraft Snow Pearls to the centre of the poinsettia and to the bottom left corner.

Stamps - Christmas Joy (JustRite)
Paper - White cardstock
Ink - Silver
Accessories - Spellbinders Nested Poinsettia, Victoria EF, Fiskars Upper Crest Border Punch, White Satin Ribbon, Bow Easy, Kaisercraft Snow Pearls, Foam Tape.

That's all for now, thanks for visiting and hope you play along!!!  :)

JustRite Gift Hop!!!

Welcome to the JustRite Gift Hop!!!  Can you believe December is here already???  Not only is Christmas coming up fast, but it is also the end of the school year here in Australia!!!  Like many other Mums, I am busy making end of year teacher gifts - this one in particular will be going to my son's Speech Therapist.  I love making notebooks and larger journals as gifts - it's just so practical for teachers!!  They are quick and easy and you can make matching cards!!!  :)

I've used Basic Grey Lemonade paper to cover the front of the book and then added a layer of Rose Red topped with Very Vanilla embossed with Victoria EF.  Through the middle I've added some Satin Ribbon (thanks to Stacy aka Twinshappy!) and popped on top of that is the monogram.  For the Monogram I've used the new Deluxe Monogram Kit - 2" Round Set, stamped in Rose Red and cut with Large Circle Nestabilities.  To finish I added some Kaisercraft Latte Pearls to the corners.

I followed the same idea with the card using a Very Vanilla base.  This time I offset the sentiment circle (which uses the new Just A Note set for the centre and  Deluxe Monogram Kit for the border) and instead of pearls, added a large satin bow to the corner!!

There are so many beautiful projects on the hop, so keep hopping and be inspired!!!!  :)

Today I had the chance to play this week's FS challenge!!  This week's honour goes to CarollAnne (aka MrsBoz) - Congratulations CarollAnne!!!  :)  Now I know most of my Northern Hemisphere friends are starting to get chilly by now, but it is Spring here (and a very hot Spring at that - we even had a storm with hail yesterday!) so I felt like making something bright and colourful!

I chose CarollAnne's Stampin B's Challenge #7 to case and changed the colours, stamps and border punch and kept the layout and theme.

I started with a base of white and layered with Riding Hood Red, more White and some Bella Rose DSP.  The middle panel is white punched on both sides with the Fiskars Eyelet Lace Border Punch, Riding Hood Red and more Bella Rose DSP.  The main panel is Riding Hood Red (cut with Label 1 Nestabilities and corners pierced) and popped up on top of that is gold cut with circle nestabilities.  The centre has been stamped in Real Red using JustRite's new Decorative 2" Round Wide Borders and Just A Note Sets.  I finished off by adding three Kaisercraft Snow Pearls to the bottom.

Twilight Blog Hop!!!

Welcome to the Customer and Design Team Artful INKables Blog Hop!!!!  Don't forget to start at the Artful INKables Blog so you don't miss a thing!!!  To celebrate the release of NEW MOON today, we're highlighting the Artful INKables Twilight inspired sets: Into the Moonlight and Fictionally Inspired. Artful INKables also has a set of Vampire Romance Themed Charms available!  Artful INKables is also sponsoring Twilight Tuesday’s Hop that include Twilight Prizes, so be sure to check them out today as well!

If you are like me you have been hanging out for the next installment of the series and will be racing to the movies ASAP!!!  Actually I have to confess my friend and I have Gold Class tickets to see New Moon - so we can see in huge comfy recliners and have waitresses serve us food and drink while we watch the movie!!!  :)

Today I have a card and a bookmark (let's face it, you need at least one for every book in the series don't you!!!).

The card starts with a base of red and layered with black and white. Then I took a piece of red an punched one side with the Martha Stewart Zig Zag emboss punch and layered with black and a piece of red satin ribbon.  I stamped the diamond pattern from Into the Moonlight and matted with red and put it over the top of the ribbon.  Next I stamped the apple from Into the Moonlight and coloured it with Real Red ink and an aqua painter and cut it out, popping it on top of a black circle matted with the Pinking Circle Nestabilities.  Finally I added the 'BITE ME' from Fictionally Inspired in red to the bottom corner!!
The bookmark is for my friend's niece who is crazy about Jasper!  The base is black and punched again with the MS Zig Zag punch (for some reason I love this punch with these sets....maybe I keep thinking of teeth??) and layered with red.  Across the bottom I used the Flourish from Fictionally Inspired in black and added the Label 9 die cut that had been stamped with 'Team Jasper' also from Fictionally Inspired.  The image of the four icons of the series is from Into the Moonlight and stamped in black and coloured with inks and an aqua painter and cut with Class Oval Nestabilities.  I finished off with a piece of red satin ribbon!!

FS145 Featuring Dawn...

Today I finally had the chance to make a card for this week's Featured Stamper!  The honour this week goes to none other than Dawn Easton aka TreasureOiler!!!  I was so surprised that she'd never been featured before, what a fabulous blog and gallery she has!!!
I decided to case her Life is Just a Bowl of Cherries card and changed the colours, papers, made the image a sentiment and added a few pearls!!  :)

I started with a base of Very Vanilla and layered with Chocolate Chip, Red Bazzill and some Kaisercraft Belle DSP.  The next panel is more Chocolate Chip and Belle DSP and tied with ivory satin ribbon.  The main panel is made using the 2" Square Decorative Frames and the Merry Little Christmas Set for the sentiment stamped in Chocolate Chip and Raspberry Versacolor.  I finished off by popping up the sentiment on foam tape and adding Kaisercraft Blush Pearls to the bottom corner and to the decorative frame.

Stamps - 2" Square Decorative Frames, Merry Little Christmas Set (JustRite)
Paper - Very Vanilla, Chocolate Chip, Red Bazzill, Kaisercraft Belle DSP
Ink - Chocolate Chip, Raspberry Versacolor
Accessories - Label 3 and Large Square Nestabilities, Ivory Satin Ribbon, Bow Easy, Kaisercraft Blush Pearls, Foam Tape.

Also, I discovered this new Australian stamp company called Annabelle Stamps recently and they are giving away Blog Candy!!! Follow THIS LINK or click on the picture of the candy on my left hand sidebar.  The Annabelle Stamps Blog also has sketch challenges each week if you are looking for something to kick start your mojo!!  :)

That's all for today, thanks for visiting!!!  :)

Hip to be Square!

Welcome to the JustRite Stampers Blog Hop!!!  Today we are celebrating the November release that includes the new shape to the JR family --- the square!!!  With decorative borders that work well with Monograms or the images and sentiments from the 1 5/8 size, these are versatile for so many uses.  This release also brings new Decorative Round Borders to fit the 2" Circle and the Just A Note set for the 1 5/8" circle.  You can find all the new releases HERE and they are ready to ship now!!!

Today's card is made using the new Decorative 2" Square Monogram Kit which includes 4 Square borders, the wooden stamper and a Font Kit.  I started with a base of Hazel Bazzill and layered with Close to Cocoa and Very Vanilla (embossed with Swiss Dots).  The three vertical strips are My Mind's Eye French Flea Market DSP.  Across the bottom is another piece of Hazel tied with some Close to Cocoa ribbon.  The frame and monogram are stamped in Close to Cocoa on Very Vanilla and cut with Large Rectangle Nestabilities which I matted with a piece of Close to Cocoa cut with the Label 3 Nestabilities and then popped up on foam tape.  To finish I added some Kaisercraft Blush Pearls to each corner of the DSP as well as smaller ones to the monogram frame.

Stamps - Decorative 2" Square Monogram Kit (JustRite)
Paper - Hazel Bazzill, Close to Cocoa, Very Vanilla, MME French Flea Market DSP
Ink - Close to Cocoa
Accessories - Label 3 Nestabilities, Large Square Nestabilities, Close to Cocoa Satin Ribbon, Bow Easy, Swiss Dots EF, Kaisercraft Blush Pearls, Foam Tape.

Day 5 and WSC105!!!!

It's the final day of my Guest Blogging over at JustRite Stampers today - it has been such a fun ride and I want to say a HUGE thank you for all the comments that have been left, not only here on my blog, but all of the ones on the JustRite Blog as well!!!  I read and appreciated every single one of them!!!  :)  As you can see, I made a trio of cards using several of the brand new sets that are available NOW over at JustRite Stampers!!!  :)  For more details on my card set, visit the JustRite Stampers Blog!!

I've also made a card today that was inspired by Beate's Week-end Sketch Challenge!  I thought this was perfect to once again use the new Deluxe Round Monogram Kit that is available from JustRite Stampers NOW!!  I started with a base of Not Quite Navy and layered with Very Vanilla and more NQN.  The four panels on the front are from SU's Bella Bleu DSP.  The main panel has been stamped in NQN for the Border and Versamark (embossed with Gold Detail EP) for the "E".  Once the border had been stamped, I cut it out with Label 9 Nestabilities (LOVE this shape!!) and embossed it.  Then I carefully drew around the embossed edge with a gold pen to give a bit of definition and popped the "E" up in the middle.  The whole panel was then popped up on foam tape and I added some Kaisercraft Chino Pearls to the bottom corner.

All the new November Releases are available right now on the JustRite Stampers Website and as an added bonus all the Christmas Stamp Sets are 20% OFF!!!  Don't forget that we are celebrating the November Release on Tuesday November 17th with the JustRite Design Team Blog Hop so pop on by and be inspired!!!

Stamps - Deluxe Round Monogram Kit (JustRite)
Paper - Not Quite Navy, Very Vanilla, Bella Bleu DSP (SU)
Ink - Not Quite Navy, Versamark
Accessories - Gold Detail EP, Large Circle Nestabilities, Label 9 Nestabilities, Kaisercraft Chino Pearls, Foam Tape.

Another Peek and a Birthday!

Hello!!!  Today is Day 3 of my Guest Blog Week at JustRite and today it's a Coffee Hamper including these cute coasters and a recipe!!!  I hope you pop on over to the JustRite Blog and have a look!!!  I do have to confess that I don't actually drink coffee - nope not at all!!!  For some reason that tends to shock people, but then my husband drinks enough for both of us!!!  :)

Now speaking of my hubby - today is his 40th Birthday!!!!  Happy Birthday Matthew!!!!!  Mwah!!!  Of course I had to make him a card - so today's card is a Masculine 40th Birthday Card!!!

I started with a base of Very Vanilla and layered with some dark green bazzill (pretending to be Always Artichoke that I have realised I'm out of) and then Soft Sky and some retired SU Le Jardin DSP.  The middle panel is more dark green that I punched around the edges using the Fiskars Upper Crest Border Punch and layered with more Very Vanilla and more Le Jardin DSP.  I then made a frame out of some Very Vanilla by using two sizes of the Label 3 dies to cut and emboss.  Finally I stamped the numbers in Always Artichoke using SU's retired Headline Numbers, cut them out and popped them up on foam tape.

I'm happy to say that he liked his card!!!  (Mum and Scoob, he liked yours too!!  :)  )

Stamps - Headline Numbers
Paper - Very Vanilla, Dark Green Bazzill, Soft Sky, Le Jardin DSP
Ink - Always Artichoke
Accessories - Fiskars Upper Crest Border Punch, Label 3 Nestabilities, Foam Tape.

That's all for today, thanks for visiting!!!  :)

FS144 Christmas Candles

Hello Everyone!!!  Today's card is for this week's Featured Stamper Challenge!!  This week the honour goes to Chrisations.ink!!!  Congratulations Christine and enjoy your week!!!  I decided to use the soon to be released Decorative Frames Borders - Round and the Merry Little Christmas Set for the candles in the centre.  The November releases by JustRite will be available for sale from this Friday - November 13th!!!

I was inspired by Christine's End of Summer card and changed - the stamps, colours, papers, added an extra punched border, moved the bling, used a bow instead of knots, using embossing instead of scoring.

I started with a base of Very Vanilla and layered with red bazzill and more VV that has been embossed with Swiss Dots EF.  The middle panel is more red bazzill that has been punched on both edges with the Fleur de Lis border punch and layered with VV (pierced) and some Cosmo Cricket Jolly by Golly DSP.  Around that I tied 1" Ivory satin ribbon and added a bow made with my Bow Easy!  The main panel has been stamped using one of the soon to be released borders from the Decorative Frames Borders - Round in Real Red and the Candles from the Merry Little Christmas Set.  The candles were coloured with markers and a blender pen and popped up on foam tape.  Both stamped images were cut out with Large Circle Nestabilities and mounted on an aqua bazzill piece cut out with the Label 9 Nestabilities.  To finish I added little Kaisercraft red pearls to each of the flourishes on the border.

Stamps - Decorative Frames Borders - Round, Merry Little Christmas Set (JustRite)
Paper - Very Vanilla, Red and Aqua Bazzill, Cosmo Cricket Jolly by Golly DSP
Ink - Real Red, Jet Black Stazon
Accessories - Tombow Markers, Blender Pen, 1" Ivory Satin Ribbon, Bow Easy, Swiss Dots EF, Large Circle Nestabilities, Label 9 Nestabilities, EK Success Fleur de Lis Border Punch, Paper Piercer, Mat Pack, Foam Tape.

That's all for now, thanks for visiting!!!  :)
